“Inglewood House” Wedding : Claire & Craig

The first few weeks of a New Year usually, for me anyway, represent a quieter time of year in being out shooting weddings. Of course, there’s always the odd exception (I was out this very weekend on my first wedding of the year in fact) but, generally, it’s a great time to catch up, take stock, revamp the website, do the tax return!!! and also blog more, which leads us to today!

Claire & Craig’s big day back in October was my first trip in a wee while to the fabulous Inglewood House, but great to be back again and ready to do my thing. This was also my last wedding before heading off for a cheeky wee break in sunny Kos … always very welcome to re-charge the batteries before heading into the final straight of the year.

OK, let’s talk about the weather! My goodness, October was a wet month but by any standards this day was biblical – colleagues of mine had messaged earlier in the day voicing their concerns on making it home safely from their weddings; I checked around for wood to build an ark! Seriously though, it was bad, and any thought I had of getting outside all but evaporated (or so I thought anyway). Thank goodness then that Inglewood has some great spots inside for pictures – top tip guys when booking your venue – outside might look like a fairytale but does the inside match up if it rains all day! It’s the first thing I’d be checking.

So then, what of the day? Well, if I just say that this was very much my kind of wedding, then you’ll probably know where I’m at. Very chilled, stress-free, no hassle, brilliant crowd of guests and a fabulous couple prepared to just “go with the flow” – and yes, we did get outside in the rain after dinner for a few shots (complete with vape inspired smoke effects) so thank you guys!!!

What a fantastic day all round and, as usual, I’ll leave the pictures to tell the story of the day.

Claire & Craig, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous wedding day! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like.

Please do leave a comment though … it’s very much appreciated 🙂 – there’s a comment box right at the end of the pics!

On with the pictures …

Need A Ninja?

If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!

My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!

Not sure if this is for you? Why not check this out for more details!

I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2025 & 2026 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
