Hey guys, so after a few weeks off (on a Med cruise no less, first time, highly recommend!!!), I’m back at it today with a new blog post :-).
Cat & Doug’s big day at the ever fabulous Carberry Tower was the first of my June weddings, my busiest month of the year and, looking back, each and every one of those having glorious weather – whatever happened to that since we hit July!!! But, you know what us photographers are like, still not happy with all the sunshine as it’s just too bright LOL … but we make it work :-).
So what of the day? Well, as with most weddings I shoot (which I guess is why couples book me) I was very much the “observer with a camera” on a very chilled, relaxed, laid back (I could go on) day, only intervening for a few family shots and a couple of short “couple shoots” before and after dinner … just the way I like it :-). And, with me staying on a little later than usual, I was able to capture some of the goings on into the evening too … what a fabulous day!!!

Looking for Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2024 & 2025 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
