“Sherbrooke Castle” Wedding : Williana & Scott

Continuing with my June weddings today guys and delighted to be sharing part 1 of what was my first wedding “double header” of the year (which was to be swiftly followed by another the following weekend) and, boy, what contasting days they were … although you’ll need to wait for part 2 of the “double header” next week to see why LOL.

It’d been a while since I was at the fabulous Sherbrooke Castle to shoot a wedding … too long, a good few years at least, so it was great to be back again for Williana & Scott’s big day, and what glorious weather too – in fact, most of June was like that really; was only when we hit July that the tide turned!

So what of the day? Well, a good while before reaching Sherbrooke, my day started as usual with some bridal prep before heading into Glasgow for the ceremony which took place at the Tron Church in Kelvingrove, and then on to Sherbrooke via a confetti tunnel :-). And let me just say … what a fabulous crowd – with Williana being from France there was a great French/Scottish mix to the day (and probably a few other nationalities too – me, for a start LOL) – truly a wonderful day!!! And a bonus too to employ my “O Level” French that I learnt all those years ago … NOT!!! I’ll stick with the Greek!

OK … enough waffle from me … on with the pictures …

Williana & Scott, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your amazing wedding day! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like. But please do let me know what you think – there’s a space for comments below the pictures :-).

Looking for Wedding Photography?

If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!

My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!

I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2024 & 2025 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
