Well what can I say! Some weddings just stick right with you for years to come … and this was one of them :-). Back to The Vu for the first time in ages to shoot Peter & James’ fabulous day … and part two of my first wedding “double header” of the year back in June, and more glorious weather none the less..
I have a theory that you can often tell how the day’s going to pan out simply from the prep shots alone and, having visited both James first and then Peter in South & North Queensferry respectively, I just knew it was going to be a great day … and my theory was bang on once again LOL.
From the briilliant cermony conducted by TJ, the smoke cannons, the dogs, the guests, the shoes that crippled the guys LOL etc etc, and, of course, the guys themselves … just amazing!!!!!
I know I say it every time but, this time, the pictures absolutely “do” tell the story of the day …

Need A Ninja?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!

I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2024 & 2025 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
