More blogging from this year’s weddings and today good people, I’m delighted to be featuring the fabulous time I spent with Scott & Ryan on their big day back in July :-). To say that the guys had a few hiccups in trying to re-schedule their “COVID hit” original wedding date would probably be an understatement, but we got there in the end, culminating on a gorgeous midweek day in Edinburgh’s City Centre.
Although I only spent around 4 hours with the guys, we certainly crammed a lot into the time, kicking off with the ceremony at Edinburgh City Chambers, followed by the couple shoot taking in the Royal Mile, Victoria Street, Grassmarket and then on to The Vennel to finish off. Then it was along to the APEX Grassmarket for a short reception before heading up to Howies restaurant for the meal … honestly, the time just flew by.
Anyway, as usual, I’ll let the pictures tell the story of the day, so here goes …

Looking for “Documentary” Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short bride & groom shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2023 and 2024 … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
Full day coverage collections start at £1800 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
