So guys, for those of you that follow my blog regularly (you know who you are LOL), you’ll recall that on my last post I talked about the fabulous wedding “double header” that I shot at the start of August last year … and this my friends is part two of that said “double header” when I took the short hop over to Glenskirlie Castle for Sara & Barry’s big day!
I’d already shot Sara’s sister Amy’s wedding to Kevin earlier in the year and that was one hell of a day, so I already knew that this was gonna be a good one too … and boy I was certainly not wrong :-). Right from the get go during the morning bridal prep through to the dancing in the evening (and likely beyond that after I left the scene), this day was just full of joy and laughter and an absolute dream for a photojournalistic wedding photographer (that’s me folks by the way LOL) to shoot – just so many amazing moments to capture. My own favourite … Sara’s duet with her dad signing Coldplay’s “Fix You”, one of my favourite songs ever!!!
Good people, as usual, I will let the pictures tell the story of this fabulous day …
Sara & Barry, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your big day! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like.
Looking for “Documentary” Wedding Photography?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short bride & groom shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2024 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
Full day coverage collections start at £1800 … but don’t forget my cheeky wee discount where you can save up to £500 :-).
Oh, and please do feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page, as I do really love to know what you think :-).
Mike :-).
