So back in June, a busy run of four weddings in eight days culminated in another trip to the gorgeous Lochside House Hotel for Nicola & Marc’s big day :-). To say I’d shot a few weddings at Lochside before would be an understatement – I’ve probably been there as many times as I’ve been anywhere over the 13 years I’ve been doing this thing called “wedding photography” but, trust me, it never fails to disappoint and remains one of my favourite venues to shoot!
As usual, I adopted my low-key documentary approach to the day, pausing only briefly for a few group shots and two very short “couple shoots”, one before and one after dinner, which is pretty much the way I roll these days good people – never let it be said that I’m “that” photographer that takes you away from the party LOL – and all the better for it in my opinion.
I’m not one for many words though so, enough waffle, on with the pictures …
Nicola & Marc, thank you very much for choosing me to shoot your fabulous wedding day! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like. But please do let me know what you think – there’s a space for comments below the pictures :-).

Need A Ninja?
If you’re on the look-out for a wedding photographer (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast!
Not sure if this is for you? Why not check this out for more details!
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2024 & 2025 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times.
