Hey guys, back with another fabulous wedding for you today when I was out once again at the gorgeous Sherbrooke Castle shooting Amie & Jamie’s big day! This was to be the first wedding of my busiest period of the year, with a wedding (sometimes two) pretty much every weekend now until I get a few weeks off in July off on hols!
Amie & Jamie now live and work in the States but came back to Scotland to celebrate their day with all their family and friends … and, wow, what amazing weather they were blessed with too – I was actually commenting on the day that I couldn’t actually remember the last time it had rained, such was the wall to wall sunshine that we had at the time – sitting here in the rain today though that now feels like a long time ago!
As per the norm, I shot the day in my usual candid documentary style, save for a couple of quick chilled out couple shoots and a handful of group shots, allowing the guys to spend the majority of the day with their guests … just what a wedding day should be (in my opinion anyway).
Anyway, enough waffle from me … as usual, the pictures tell the story of the day way better than I can!
Amie & Jamie, it was great to be with you all on your amazing day and thank you very much for choosing me for your wedding photography at Sherbrooke Castle! Here’s a few of my own favourite shots which I hope you all like.
Please feel free to leave a comment if you like … it’s very much appreciated 🙂 – there’s a comment box right at the end of the pics!
The Pictures
Looking for Sherbrooke Castle Wedding Photography … or anywhere for that matter?
If you’re getting married (or know someone who is), then you may just like my “ninja style” (a couple’s words, not mine) low key approach to the day! Most couples tell me they didn’t even notice me for the majority of the day and that suits me … it is your wedding day after all, not a photo-shoot!
My style is very unposed, unfussy and focuses more on documenting your day rather than directing it. Minimal group shots (or even none at all if you prefer) and short couple shoots allow you spend more of the day with the people that matter and have a total blast! Find out more here about the way I work.
For the past three years, I’ve been recognised by the WPJA as Scotland’s top ranked wedding photojournalist, so you know you’re in safe hands :-).
I’m mainly taking bookings now for 2026 & 2027 but do still have some limited availability for this year too … but I do now only shoot one wedding per weekend so dates can be very limited during peak times. So do get in touch asap guys to check my availability.
