32 weddings, as quality is more important than quantity in my book, around 2000 miles travelled and roughly 65,000 pictures taken. Long days, early starts, late finishes, rain, wind, sunshine, sunsets, smoke bombs, beaches, lots of 3 course meals (thank you guys!!!), lying on the ground (not always dry ground either!), crazy dancing, one broken camera and two smashed flashguns … all par for the course in a normal year!
Back in May last year, I blogged the first of my 2023 weddings; fast forward nine months and here I am blogging Carol & Steven’s big day, my very last wedding of my 2023 season and yes, by and large, I did manage to keep relatively up to date with them all! Save for a handful of couples that preferred not to be blogged (always your decision guys which I respect), that’s every single one now done, dusted and blogged … and what a fabulous year it was, ending the year as Scotland’s top ranked wedding photojournalist with the WPJA for the second year running – thank you guys!

More adventures in “blogland” today guys and you know when you hit November you’re pretty much in the home straight as far as wedding season is concerned – just the two in November for me last year but what brilliant days they were … and very different too!
