Emily & Ryan’s Wedding Album

So, as I type this, Emily & Ryan’s wedding album is just about to head off to them down in London, complete with parent albums and their images on disk. I’ll have quite a few albums coming out over the next week or so, such is the number of weddings that I’ve shot this year so far, and I’ll be looking to share most of these with you. The guys got married at Edinburgh Zoo back in April – that was a great day all round and, for me, made all the better by that meerkat image!

600,000 Views for One Wedding Image

Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing Emily and Ryan’s wedding at Edinburgh Zoo. As well as the usual more formal images, the guys wanted to capture some images that encapsulated the feel of the day and, having got married at the zoo, it seemed only right to try to get a few images with some of the animals. A recce beforehand had shown me that this was going to be a bit more tricky than at first envisaged, as the layout of the various cages and pens didn’t lend themselves to include a photograph of the bride & groom. But needs must…

Emily & Ryan at Edinburgh Zoo

If ever there was a unique venue for a wedding (and, of course, wedding photography), then I’m sure Edinburgh Zoo would be right at the top of the list. And this is where I was today for the wedding of Emily & Ryan. We had a good laugh when the guys came up from London a few weeks ago for their pre-wedding shoot in the Dean Village so I had a feeling that today was going to be a good day, and that’s exactly how it turned out.
