My second wedding of the year back in March took me into Glasgow’s Merchant City for my first ever visit to the Old Fruitmarket to shoot Clare & Mark’s big day … and what an amazing day it was!
Well it’s been quite some time since I featured any wedding album designs on the blog – just seemed to be one of those things that went a bit “by the by” but, given that more than half the couples that book with me do opt for an album package, it seems only right to start posting again as it’s a great source of inspiration for them when starting to consider their own design.
Hey guys, I’m back – yep, after a short hiatus at at the start of the year (which is often a pretty quiet time wedding wise), I’m delighted muchly to be featuring my first wedding of the year when a few weeks ago, I was back at the Hilton North Queensferry once again, this time to shoot Sharifa & Ollie’s big day – 2025 is off and running for sure!
A few years ago, I made the decision to cut down the number of weddings I shoot in December; family time, Xmas and all that, but I still do a few and, this December just gone, I had two fabulous days to shoot, one of which took me up the road to Gleneagles for Kim & Malcolm’s big day!
It was an amazing day, the pictures are captured perfectly.
So at the end of last week guys, I had some amazing news! Some of you may know that I regularly submit a selection of my pictures into competitions and, with one of the organisations I submit to, the Wedding Photojournalist Association (or WPJA as they are more commonly known), I’ve only gone and finished 10th in the World in their Artistic Guild category!!! Here I am in some very esteemed company for those that want a look.
